Notary Seal Requirements: Colorado
The State of Colorado requires each notary public the use of a rectangular ink rubber stamp as their official notary seal. The size and color are not specified.
The notary seal must contain the notary public's name exactly as it appears on their commission, the words "Notary Public" and "State of Colorado" and the Notary ID number and commission expiration date for all commissions issued or renewed after August 8, 2012.
Note: With the 2012 revisions to the notary law [12-55-122(4)] the provision, keeping, and use of seal embossers is prohibited.
