Notary Seal Requirements: Florida
The State of Florida requires the use of a black-ink rubber stamp. The notary stamp can be circular or rectangular, but must be photographically reproducible. An embossing seal may only be in conjuction with the official notary ink stamp.
The notary seal must include the words "Notary Public - State of Florida", the name of the notary public, the date of the expiration of the commission of the notary public, and the commission number. The name of the notary's bonding company may be included on the seal but is not required.
While an image can be added to the seal, the Great Seal of the State of Florida is prohibited from use on official notary public seals.
