Notary Seal Requirements: Minnesota
The State of Minnesota requires each notary public to use a rectangular rubber stamp that is photographically reproducible as their official notary seal, although an embossing seal may be used in addition, but not in place of the rubber stamp notary seal. The seal must be rectangular and must not exceed three quarters of an inch by two and a half inches with a serrated or milled border.
The seal must contain the name of the notary public, the words "Notary Public" or "Notarial Officer" in the case of an ex officio notary, the Minnesota state seal and the words "My Commission Expires" followed by the expiration date.
