Notary Seal Requirements: Missouri
The State of Missouri requires each notary public to use either a black-inked rubber stamp or embossing seal that is photographically reproducible as their official notary seal. The print on the stamp/seal must be in type no smaller than eight-point type.
The stamp/seal must contain the notary's exact name as it appears on their commission certificate, the assigned commission number and the phrases "Notary Seal", "Notary Public" and "State of Missouri". In addition, if using a rubber stamp, the seal must contain the county for which the notary public is commissioned and the expiration date of that commission.
The Great Seal of the State of Missouri can not be used on the Notary Stamp.
