Notary Seal Requirements: Montana
The State of Montana requires notary publics to use a rectangle stamp, approximately 1” x 2 ½” in size with a rectangular border, as their official notary seal. The stamp may be either blue or black ink only.
The stamp must include a seal, the notary’s printed name, the phrases “Notary Public for the State of Montana” and “Residing at” with the name of the city or town where the notary lives and the notary’s commission expiration date, shown as mm/dd/yyyy.
